25 Aug DecisionRx Appoints National Accountable Care Expert Dr. Rob Fields to Clinical Advisory Board
Appointment reinforces the company’s leadership as a value-based care enabler for Accountable Care Organizations.
Indianapolis, IN — August 25, 2025 — DecisionRx, a pioneer in medication therapy optimization, today announced the appointment of Rob Fields, MD, MPH to its Clinical Advisory Board.
Dr. Fields currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Beth Israel Lahey Health. He joins existing members David Shulkin, MD, former U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and Steven Goldberg, MD, MBA, former Chief Health Officer of Quest Diagnostics.
Dr. Fields is a nationally recognized expert in population health and accountable care. At Beth Israel Lahey Health, he oversees primary care, pharmacy, behavioral health, continuing care, hospital-at-home services, and the Beth Israel Lahey Health Performance Network. Previously, as Chief Population Health Officer at Mount Sinai Health System, he led value-based care initiatives across one of the nation’s largest academic health systems.
Dr. Fields also co-founded Vista Family Health in North Carolina, one of the state’s first Patient-Centered Medical Homes, and helped create Mission Health Partners, a pioneering Accountable Care Organization (ACO) that grew from 250 to over 1,100 physicians while significantly reducing total cost of care for its Medicare beneficiaries.
On the national stage, Dr. Fields has previously served as the Board Chair of the National Association of ACOs (NAACOS) and the Board of America’s Physician Groups (APG) and Healthfirst. He is also a member or chair for various national committees on quality and measure development for the National Quality Foundation and CMS.
